How Economist Education works with companies to give them an edge

Our practical courses can benefit your organisation. Discover our approach to training teams and find out how to get in touch

March 20th 2025

How does Economist Education work with companies?

We collaborate with clients to deliver training that makes an impact. Our courses allow firms to benefit from authoritative analysis, practical tools and a flexible approach. We make sure the programme is right for your organisation, whether you’re looking for in-person training for a leadership offsite day about AI, or equipping new graduates to present data to senior stakeholders. Groups receive dedicated support for the duration of a course; team leaders can request regular updates on their cohort’s progress.

Why should I enrol my team?

Our efficient, focused and jargon-free approach to corporate training has benefited thousands of individual learners; enrolling as a team can have extra benefits for participants and your organisation. In our group sessions people sharpen their own skills and work together to sharpen one another’s, strengthening the team’s dynamic and helping improve its effectiveness. We provide additional resources, such as guides containing further activities, so groups can build on the course in their own time. Participants also receive a complimentary three-month subscription to The Economist, allowing them to supplement their new knowledge with timely analysis of current affairs.

What course formats can I choose from?

Companies can choose from a range of formats to suit their priorities and the size of their group. Our self-paced, online courses are ideal for large, global teams. We also offer in-person- and virtual-masterclass versions of our business-writing course for groups wishing to learn from an experienced educator and journalist in real time. Get in touch to discuss other options: each format can be further customised, whether by changing a programme’s pace or adding industry-specific case studies.
